CS for Mainline

Learn and build with us @ Wayne, PA

June 15–26, 2018

A different kind of summer

CS for Mainline is a two-week event that promotes computational and design thinking in students with a focusing lens on global issues.

For two weeks, you'll be attending workshops on everything from Computer Science fundamentals to social issues. Afterwards, you'll get your creative juices flowing with a team and build an idea with code!

  1. Who can attend?

All middle schoolers are welcome! If you are under 18, we’ll need a parental consent form.

  2. I don’t have a team. Can I still participate?

Of course! It is not necessary to have a team prior to coming to CS for Mainline. We’ll have some fun team-forming sessions where you can find an awesome group of people to work with. You’re welcome to have up to four people on a team.

  3. How will you decide between applicants?

Applicants will be chosen based on a random lottery. Everyone is welcome to apply!

  4. How much is this going to cost me?

CS for Mainline is completely free, including WiFi, food, drinks, and awesome swag :)

  1. What should I bring?

Your laptop, phone, chargers, parental consent form, and lots of excitement.

  2. I have a question that's not answered here!

We're here for you! Send us an email at cs4mainline@gmail.com or reach out to us on Facebook or Twitter.
